    CHOOSE THE METAL

    Set the colour of the piece.

    Choose the principal metal for the shank or body of the design. Metal changes contrast, weight, maintenance, and how a stone reads in the hand; the final alloy is confirmed for the piece and how you intend to wear it.

    Interactive finish study using one identical form and lighting setup. Natural colour and final appearance vary with alloy, lighting, polish, and the finished form.

    What is CAD in jewellery design?

    It is a three-dimensional digital model used to study the intended form before making begins. It helps us review proportion, profile, setting, and practical construction.

    Does CAD replace hand craft?

    No. CAD is a design and preparation tool. Casting, assembly, stone setting, polishing, finishing, and the judgement behind them still belong to the making process.

    Can an inherited stone or old piece be used?

    Often, yes, but it must be assessed first. Condition, dimensions, existing wear, and the safest setting route all affect what is possible.

    Will the preview look exactly like the finished piece?

    The model communicates intended form and proportion. Natural stones, alloy colour, polish, setting work, and real light give the finished piece its individual character.

    Can the design be changed before approval?

    Yes. Refinement is part of the process. The agreed route is adjusted before approval so the making stage begins from a clear decision.

    What happens after I approve the model?

    The next making steps, timing, materials, and any remaining decisions are confirmed for your piece. Work only moves forward on the agreed route.
