01
What we collect
When you send an enquiry or place an order, we receive the details you choose to share: your name, email address, phone number if given, your message, and order details such as the pieces, delivery address, and chosen delivery option. Browsing the site itself stores shopping information (basket, favourites, recently viewed) only in your own browser.
02
How we use it
We use your information to respond to enquiries, take and deliver orders, arrange repairs and commissions, and keep records we are legally required to hold (such as invoices). We do not sell your information or use it for third-party advertising.
03
Payments
Card and wallet payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe, including Apple Pay and Klarna where offered). Remz does not see or store your full card details. Payment providers process your data under their own privacy policies.
04
Who we share with
We share information only where needed to fulfil your order or enquiry: with payment providers, insured delivery couriers, and the assay office where hallmarking requires it. We may also share information where the law requires us to.
05
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them. Order and invoice records are kept for the periods required by UK tax and consumer law. Information stored in your own browser (basket, favourites, preferences) stays on your device until you clear it.
06
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used. To exercise any of these rights, email remzjewellery@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
